How do I locate the Netgear Router IP address?

The default IP address of Netgear routers is either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1. Usually, the device that is being used, when connected to the router will automatically retrieve the IP address for you but sometimes due to some reasons or your devices might be using a static IP address, then the IP addresses are not available. In that case, you can search for them yourself through the following easy steps:

To locate the IP address:

  1. Open a web browser through your device which is connected to the router.

  2. Type either www.routerlogin.com or www.routerlogin.net in the address bar. The default web page containing the login window will display.

  3. Enter the default router name and password. The user name and password are case sensitive. A Basic Home page will display.

  4. Select ADVANCED. The IP address will display under the Router Information.
